3. Simple Future Tense

Form=Sub+will/shall+V without to+obj
 
Simple Future
(a)    It will snow tomorrow.
It is going to snow tomorrow.
(b)   Tom will watch television tonight.
Tom is going to watch television tonight.
(c)    Tom will study tomorrow
(d)   I will/shall work; you will work;  they will/shall work; he/she/it will work;



At one particular time in the future, this will happen.

2. Simple Past Tense

Simple Past
(a)    It showed yesterday.
(b)   Tom watched television last night.
(c)    Tom studied last night.
(d)   I worked, you worked, he/she/it worked etc.
(e)    I walked to school yesterday.
(f)    John lived in Paris for ten years, but now he lives in Rome.
(g)    I bought a new car three days ago.
At one Particular time in the past, this happened. It began and the ended in the past.

(h)   TO-NHA stood under a tree when it began to rain.
(i)     When Mrs. Jaran heard a strange noise, she got up to investigate.
(j)     When I dropped my cup, the coffee spilled on my lap.
If sentence contains when and has the simple past in both clauses, the action in the when clause happens first.
In (h) 1st: The rain began.
2nd: He stood under a tree.







1st:It began to rain.









2nd: TO-NHA stood under a tree.

TO-NHA stood under a tree when it began to rain.

Meaning
1.     We use borrow to say that we take something temporarily with the intention of returning it.(เราใช้borrow=ขอยืม)จะบอกว่าเราใช้หรือเอาสิ่งที่ชั่วคราวด้วยความตั้งใจที่มันจะกลับมา
Ø  Can I borrow your car?
Ø  She borrowed $100 from her father.
2.     We use lend to say that we give something temporarily with the intention of having it returned. (เราใช้ (lend=ให้ยืม)ที่จะบอกว่าเราจะให้บางสิ่งบางอย่างเป็นการชั่วคราวด้วยความตั้งใจที่มีมันกลับมา)

Ø  Can you lend me your car?
